      Frequently
      Asked
      Questions

We've answered the most common ones below. If you'd rather talk it through, call us on 0115 959 6999 — our team is used to working with dental professionals and can advise on whether a case is suitable before you formally refer.
      • Will you try to take on my patient's ongoing care?

No - and this is important to us. We are a specialist referral service, not a competing practice. We treat the case you refer and return the patient to you with a full clinical report. Routine and restorative care stays where it belongs: with you.

      • What types of cases do you accept referrals for?

We accept referrals for wisdom tooth extractions (including surgical and impacted cases), dental implants, root canal treatments, surgical periodontics, and any case requiring IV conscious sedation or general anaesthetic. If you're unsure whether a case is suitable, call us and we'll advise.

      • Do you really offer general anaesthetic on-site?

Yes. We are one of very few dental practices in the Nottingham region to offer GA for dental procedures within our own clinical environment. This is particularly valuable for highly anxious patients, those with complex needs, patients with learning difficulties, or cases requiring multiple procedures in a single visit. Our GA is delivered by a consultant anaesthetist using a fully equipped theatre.

      • How quickly will you see my patient?

We aim to triage all referrals promptly and will contact you with an appointment timeframe as soon as the referral is reviewed. Urgent cases are flagged - if you have a time-sensitive situation, call us directly rather than using the form.

      • What should I include with my referral?

Please include the patient's contact details, a summary of the clinical situation, your treatment request, and any relevant radiographs or images. The more information you provide upfront, the faster we can assess and book appropriately. You can upload files directly through the referral form.

      Ready to refer?

Use the form, call us directly, or email our referral team. Please include relevant clinical notes and any radiographs to help us triage quickly.
